The upside-down U-shapes symbolise your family, friends and loved ones, while the circles above honour your ancestors and the guidance they continue to give. Footprints and flowing lines travel through the centre, showing movement, learning and the many paths that lead us to shared meeting places and moments of connection. Below, turtles, coral and shifting waters celebrate the richness of our oceans and reefs. The turtles symbolise resilience, wisdom and safe passage as they move through the currents of life. Domica Hill is a proud pakana woman originating from lutruwita (Tasmania).

Her distinctive creative practice is celebrated for its brilliant use of contemporary pastels and earth tones, which she uses to breathe modern life into the traditional symbols, story work, and cultural landscapes passed down through her Aboriginal ancestry.
