You also see stars and smaller circles representing our ancestors and all those who came before us. The footprints depict the journey we take throughout our lives and above them the people you meet along the way as we create our own imprinted path on this country."

Domica Hill is a proud pakana woman originating from lutruwita (Tasmania).
Her distinctive creative practice is celebrated for its brilliant use of contemporary tones and pastels, which she uses to breathe modern life into the traditional symbols, story work, and cultural landscapes passed down through her Aboriginal ancestry.
