About the Artist
Murdie Nampijinpa Morris is an Aboriginal artist from Central Australia whose artwork celebrates Country, culture and connection.
Her designs are represented through Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation, a not-for-profit organisation established in 1985 and 100% Aboriginal-owned by its artists from the remote desert communities of Yuendumu and Nyirripi in Central Australia.
Through Warlukurlangu Artists, Aboriginal artists are supported to share their stories, maintain cultural practices and build sustainable creative careers.
